Following the success of our Landlord presentation evening in 2019 we will be holding a new event in 2022. The highlight of the event will be an entertaining presentation by Paul Shamplina of Channel 5’s ‘Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords”. Our legal expert, Darrel ‘The Lettings Guru’ from DWK Consultancy, will go through compliance in lettings, both recent and up and coming changes that will have far reaching effects on our industry in the future.

Rising rental values, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, gas and electrical safety, importance of regular property checks, are just a few of the subjects our experts will be speaking about. There will also be an opportunity to engage with a lively Q & A session too.

This informative event is designed to empower Landlords with the information and advice they need to have a successful and profitable tenancy, and to highlight the pitfalls of cutting corners.

Guest Speaker, Paul Shamplina. You’ve probably seen him in the papers, heard him on the radio or watched him on TV. Paul Shamplina is the Founder of Landlord Action and has spent over 25 years in the legal field helping landlords and letting agents with problem tenants. Often referred to as ‘The Landlords’ Friend’, Paul is regularly asked to comment in the media … and he isn’t afraid to give his point of view. He has also been named ‘Best Seminar Speaker’ in the 2019 LIS Awards.

Guest Speaker, Darrel Kwong. Darrel has 24 years experience in lettings and property management having set up and managed letting agencies, managed the legal and compliance department of a large independent property group in Surrey. Honey Lettings employ Darrel to keep us up to date and offer support and advice with any issues as they arise.
